My name is Emily Grund, I am 22 years old and about to begin a journey of a lifetime. I have been invited to be a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines with the job title “Teacher of English Language Fluency,” and I couldn’t be more excited! To give you a background on how I got to this point in my life, I’ve made a short timeline, so check it out if you’re interested.
After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.A. in Journalism, I have come to love blogging and all the creativity that can come from them. I hope to use this blog to educate readers about my experience in the Philippines and hopefully inspire others to travel, volunteer, and/or even join the Peace Corps!
